The confirmation was given during a hearing granted by the Brazilian President to the Angolan Foreign Minister, Manuel Augusto, who was in Brazil on an official visit.
It is known that during the hearing a missive by João Lourenço was handed over to Jair Bolsonaro, in which the president reaffirmed Angola's cooperation intentions with Brazil.
The Luanda Summit will take place in September this year, and the meeting will mark the inauguration of Angola in the rotating presidency of the CPLP.
During his stay in the Brazilian capital, Manuel Augusto also met with Ernesto Araújo, his Brazilian counterpart and with the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply of Brazil, Tereza Cristina.
