Considering that Bengo's land is fertile and has water potential to help develop agriculture, the ambassador said that his country is willing to come forward with possible investments.

Josphat Maikara, quoted by Angop, stressed that this potential investment could help boost the export of products such as wood, fish and bananas to Kenya. As for the tourism sector, the ambassador considered that it still needs to be explored and that Kenya can help Angola in this regard.

"The idea is that African investors should invest in their own continent, because only then can we significantly improve the standard of living of Africans. In that sense, we will have more discussions on these issues," he said.

Mara Quiosa, governor of Bengo, said that tourism is a very important sector for Bengo: "With this meeting, the government of Bengo intends in the near future to sign a cooperation agreement with Kenyan investors, because the province has several types of tourism to develop".

According to Angop, if the two countries reach an agreement, it will be possible for them to help each other.

Josphat Maikara visited the tourist area of the dam, the Novagrolider company, and also visited the municipality of Ambriz, the Fortress, Kinfuca beach and the House of Slaves.
