At the hearing, which served to "address the company's potential investments in the Angolan market", the official gave a presentation of the company's strategic vision for Angola, highlighting "the company's interest in investing in the transport, sports, tourism and mineral resources sectors".
"In the sports sector, Amir Ali Salemi expressed his intention to invest in Angolan football, with plans to acquire a local club and build new stadiums", says a statement sent to VerAngola.
The company, the note adds, wants to "boost the development of sports in Africa, bringing its experience and the involvement of renowned international clubs, such as Ajax, from the Netherlands, and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), from France".
In addition, the company also intends to create a company for the transport of goods and services.
"Among the planned initiatives, there is the creation of a company for the transport of goods and services, aiming to strengthen connectivity and logistical efficiency in the country", the note points out.
The meeting also saw the "presentation of the Angolan company Pinto Capital as the local representative of JTA International Investments, with the aim of facilitating the implementation of projects and the establishment of strategic partnerships in the country".
A business mission from the company will visit Angola until the 20th of this month.
"JTA International Investments, headquartered in Doha, Qatar, has a consolidated presence in several African markets, with a notable participation in the management and expansion of the Port of Zanzibar, in Tanzania. Its investment portfolio covers strategic sectors such as agriculture, mining, oil and gas, energy, sports and transport, in line with the Angolan government's priorities for the diversification of the economy", the note also states.
