Qatari company visits Angola in search of investment opportunities

A Qatari company has been visiting Angola since Monday with a view to identifying investment opportunities and strengthening its presence in the country. The company is JTA International Investments, which focuses on the oil and gas, diamonds and agro-industry sectors and whose visit will culminate in the signing of an agreement with Pinto Capital.

According to a statement sent to VerAngola, the business mission to Angola will last until next Thursday and includes meetings with entities in the oil and gas, mineral resources, construction and infrastructure, tourism and agriculture sectors.

"The business mission, which takes place from February 17 to 20, 2025, includes meetings and working meetings with entities from the oil and gas, mineral resources, construction and infrastructure, tourism and agriculture sectors. These meetings aim to learn about potential investment projects, express JTA International Investments' interest in the Angolan market and present Pinto Capital as a local representative," says the note.

The visit by JTA International Investments, an investment company based in Doha (Qatar), aims to "identify investment opportunities and strengthen its presence in the country". Furthermore, "the visit to Angola underlines the company's interest in exploring new possibilities for collaboration and sustainable investment in the Angolan market."

According to the statement, the aforementioned visit "will culminate in the signing of a local representation agreement with the Angolan company Pinto Capital".

JTA International Investments was established in 2010 and "has offices in Doha and London, as well as a global network of partners who actively collaborate in identifying and realizing investment opportunities."

According to the statement, the Qatari company "stands out by offering innovative financing solutions globally. With investments ranging from 10 to 400 million euros, and a share capital stake of between 35 percent and 75 percent, the company has a consolidated presence in several strategic sectors, including oil and gas, agriculture and agro-industry, tourism and transport, infrastructure, technology and innovation."

In turn, Pinto Capital, which is a local partner and promoter of the visit, refers to "an Angolan investment management and consultancy company, focused on promoting sustainable and innovative investments", whose experience and knowledge of the national economic situation "are determining factors for the success of this partnership".
