According to a note from the Presidency of the Republic, to which VerAngola had access, it was for more than two hours that João Lourenço "spoke with Angolans arriving from different parts of the Czech Republic about the country's major actions and projects, which cover areas such as construction of road, hospital, airport and railway infrastructures, investments in higher education, agricultural development, among others".

"Angolans, with training in areas such as medicine, engineering, political science and business, expressed their willingness to help the Angolan government attract investments to the national market, relaunching political relations between the two States", it reads in the statement.

It should be noted that the Angolan community residing in the European country is "slightly above 500 people, trained staff, students and workers with different skills and trades", many of whom have lived in the Czech Republic "since the first years of Independence of Angola, in the 70s".
