President changes ANPG and also appoints new Secretaries of State for Energy and Water

The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, made changes to the Energy and Water sectors, having appointed new Secretaries of State for Energy and Water. Furthermore, the head of state also changed the Board of Directors of the National Oil, Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANPG), as well as the government of Malanje.

According to a statement from CIPRA, to which VerAngola had access, João Lourenço dismissed António Fernandes Rodrigues Belsa da Costa as Secretary of State for Energy, having appointed Arlindo Bota Manuel Carlos to the position.

"Manuel Quintino was also dismissed from the position of Secretary of State for Water", reads the note, which adds that the position is now occupied by António Fernandes Rodrigues Belsa da Costa.

Furthermore, the head of state also changed the ANPG Board of Directors.

"The President of the Republic, João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, in a decree signed this Monday, declared the term of office of the individuals who make up" the Board of Directors of ANPG to be over, namely: Paulino Fernando de Carvalho Jerónimo (president of the Board of Directors); César Paxi Pedro (administrator); Nataxa Alexandre Tavares Ferreira Monteiro Massano (administrator) and Gerson Henda Baptista Afonso dos Santos (administrator).

To the aforementioned council, João Lourenço reappointed Paulino Jerónimo as president of the Board of Directors. However, he appointed new administrators: Artur Manuel Custódio (administrator); Ana Rosa da Costa Nhanga Miala (administrator); Nicola Isabel dos Santos Lemos de Mvuayi (administrator) and Alcides Fernandes Mendes de Andrade (administrator).

Furthermore, the President of the Republic also dismissed "Angelino Mungila Quissonde from the position of vice-governor of the province of Malanje for Technical Services and Infrastructures", having appointed "Duarte André Ginga to the position of vice-governor of the province of Malanje for Technical Services and Infrastructures".
