The person responsible - cited in a statement from parliament, to which VerAngola had access - made it known that the European Union Secretary for International Partnerships, Jutta Urpilainen, is scheduled to arrive in Luanda this Tuesday (20 February), "for the signing of the financial agreement worth 90 million euros".
"This project aims to boost areas linked to the blue economy, circular economy, civil society and partnerships", reads the statement.
On the occasion, the ambassador also said that, aiming to "support the country's socio-economic development process, the European Union provided a financing program worth 275 million dollars".
This program, which lasts four years, she said, is aimed at supporting projects in the field of economic diversification, human development and governance.
In statements to the press, cited by Angop, Maria do Rosário Bento Pais recalled that this support package runs until this year, and from then until 2027 the partners will negotiate a second support.
The diplomat also made it known that the audience with Carolina Cerqueira also served to discuss matters related to the Joint Assembly between the EU and the Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States, after the Samoa Agreement was signed.
