The information was provided by Jornal de Angola, which cites a source from the continental entity.

The aforementioned document aims to make it easier for the organization's personnel, their dependents and specialists to work in the country.

It should also be noted that the 'Laissez-passer' (in English 'let it pass') concerns a travel document, which can be issued by the government of a State or by an international entity.

It is also worth noting that Angola is a candidate to assume the rotating presidency of the AU next year.

In the continental organization, the country currently has five elected officials. They are Josefa Sacko, Sebastião Isata, Maria Teresa Manuela, Pascoal Joaquim and Wilson de Almeida.
