Provincial government of Uíge opens public competition for the entry of more than 400 employees

The announcement was made this Tuesday, late afternoon, and is now available for consultation on the Uíge Provincial Government's online platforms. The external public competition concerns the filling of 407 vacancies in general regime careers.

The public competition was announced in an order by the provincial governor of Uíge, José Carvalho da Rocha, and is framed in article five of Presidential Decree no. 102/11 of 23 May, which establishes the general principles on the recruitment and selection of candidates in the Public administration.

A total of 407 vacancies were thus opened, destined for general regime careers. According to documents made available by the provincial government, and to which VerAngola had access, of the total vacancies, 28 are aimed at senior technicians of the 2nd class, 42 for technicians of the 3rd class, 167 for medium technicians of the 3rd class. 2nd class, 114 for clerk typist positions and 56 for 2nd class administration assistants.

Vacancies will be distributed across positions in the Provincial Government and in the 16 municipalities that make up the province of Uíge, depending on the categories in which they fall.

It should be remembered that the last competition to fill vacancies in the Provincial Government of Uíge was held in May 2022, and at the time 418 vacancies were filled, in the careers of 2nd and 3rd class senior technicians, typists, clerks, treasurers, heavy and light vehicle drivers, telephone operators, administrative and cleaning assistants and qualified and unskilled workers.
