Isaac de Benguela with five months of wages in arrears can leave Girabola

Players at Isaac de Benguela, in the Angolan football championship, have five months of salary in arrears, acknowledged the club's president and owner, Isaac Celestino, on Friday.

:

"I'm roughly five months away from paying salaries to my players. I'm grateful that there are people of good faith inside and outside Benguela province. We don't have the conditions to play the next Girabola games", he said.

The manager, who said he would cover the team's expenses at Girabola by selling cell phones, admitted the possibility of the team withdrawing from the championship.

On the next round of the Angolan football championship, Isaac de Benguela will visit Sporting de Cabinda, but the chairman of the board has already announced that the team will not travel to Cabinda province.

"There is no money, so we are unable to go to Cabinda to play the game", he guaranteed.

In Girabola, Isaac de Benguela occupies the 14th and penultimate position, with nine points, 11 rounds from the end of this edition.
