The official assured that the FAF is interested in the emergence of the Football League, but stressed that, at the moment, "a considerable part of our clubs do not have the requirements met".
José Carlos Miguel highlighted the fact that a working commission had traveled to Portugal, roughly a year ago, to collect experiences from the Portuguese Professional Football League, as well as from a consultant appointed by FIFA.
The vice-president pointed out that these facts prove the will of the federation to create the conditions so that, at any time, the organism that will manage professional football in the national territory can emerge.
In recent months, first division football clubs have been demanding the implementation of the professional league from the FAF as of next season.
The clubs even conditioned the start of the second round of Girabola, as they understood that the Angolan Football Federation was making the League's appearance unfeasible.
