The two leaders also spoke about regional issues in Africa, specifically about the conflict in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo, neighboring country of Angola.
On this issue, the note stresses that the two Presidents "defended the need for coordination between the various actors in the process so that there is progress and avoids any escalation".
