Petro de Luanda wins Sagrada Esperança and reinforces leadership in the African League

Petro de Luanda, coached by Portuguese coach Alexandre Santos, beat Sagrada Esperança on Saturday in Luanda and reinforced the leadership of group D, with seven points, in a game of the African Champions League in football.

The Brazilian Tiago Azulão, from a penalty, in the 33rd minute, scored the goal, in a game of the third round, at the 11 de Novembro stadium, stronghold of Sagrada Esperança.

In the other game in the same group, Wydad, from Morocco, in their stronghold, beat Zamalek, from Egypt, by 3-1, and occupies the second position, with six points, while Zamalek is third, with two points, and Sagrada Esperança the last one, with one.

The two Angolan teams will face each other again, on March 10, in a second round game, at the 11 de Novembro stadium, Petro de Luanda's stronghold, while Zamalek welcomes Wydad.
