Angolan Paralympic Committee to build a high-performance center in Cacuaco

António da Luz, secretary general of the Angolan Paralympic Committee (CPA), revealed that the institution will build a high-performance center in the Mayé-Mayé area, in Cacuaco. Soccer field, multipurpose pavilion and housing for athletes are some of the services that will make up the center.

The official did not say the value of the work or when it will start, since it is still necessary to hold a meeting with the authorities to discuss aspects related to the project, among other important points, writes Angop.

António da Luz also made it known that the municipal administration of Cacuaco ceded a land of five hectares to the CPA, for the realization of the project, adding that the delivery of this space takes place 15 years after the construction of the project was planned, which has not yet been carried out. for lack of space.

According to Angop, several efforts were made with the national sports institutions and the Provincial Government of Luanda, but it was only now that the announcement of the concession of the space was made.

The CPA was created in 1994 and is responsible for guiding national adapted sport.
