Angolan model wins contest in Nigeria

Angolan Ana Campos won the ‘Future Face Africa’ contest, which took place in Nigeria. The 22-year-old model considered the achievement as an opening of doors to new opportunities, showing that she was happy with the feat.

:

"It was all I needed, I always dreamed and believed that one day I would be able to reach this goal of being an international model. This victory leaves me exposed to the world of international fashion, it could open the doors to other opportunities in a much wider market", considered the model.

In statements to Platinaline, Ana Campos revealed that she lived "moments of a lot of nervousness, a lot of anxiety", but she was very confident in herself.

"Actually, it had been ready for a long time, I just needed an opportunity to show what I know how to do, what I love. Someone who believed and supported my potential. I felt extremely proud to be able to represent Angola and be able to bring this title to my country," she said.

The model competed for the title with 19 models from Nigeria, Tanzania, Ghana and Rwanda. The models were fighting for a two-year international contract with an international agency and a $10,000 prize money, writes Platinaline.

Days before the final of the contest, Ana Campos revealed that it was an "honor to be among the selected of the 2000 registered to represent Angola".

Professionally walking the catwalks for three years, the model also stands out for winning the 2021 Revelation Model award at the Angola Fashion Awards 2021.
