Aldeia Nova uses drones to monitor agricultural production

The Aldeia Nova Logistics Base, located in Wacu Cungo, in the municipality of Cela (Cuanza Sul), decided to use technological means to monitor its agricultural production: the company is using drones to monitor a field of about 4000 hectares, aiming to prevent possible theft.

:

José Carlos Figueiredo, chairman of the Board of Directors (PCA) of Teleservice, explained that drones allow surveillance from all angles.

Cited by Angop, the official also made it known that, in addition to these technological equipment, the guard is also being carried out using vehicles, dogs and armed reaction.

The measure was praised by the second municipal commander of the National Police of the Cell, Inspector Alberto Milagre, who explained that the size of the farm requires a larger guard, in order to prevent robberies.

The inspector, also quoted by Angop, encouraged farmers to use technological equipment to more effectively patrol their productions: "We encourage farmers to use technology to accurately monitor their production fields".

Aldeia Nova is dedicated to the production of corn, cassava, soybeans, potatoes, among other agricultural products. It also operates in the field of livestock and poultry.

According to Angop, the company annually produces an average of 8,000 tons of corn and 4,500 tons of soy. Daily, the company produces an average of 300,000 eggs, among others.
