Covid-19: country with 41 new cases, no deaths and 254 recoveries in the last 24 hours

The country recorded 41 new cases, zero deaths and 254 recoveries in the last 24 hours, according to the epidemiological bulletin of the National Directorate of Public Health, released this Wednesday.

The highest number of cases was found in the province of Luanda (16), followed by Huambo (13), Benguela (7), Zaire (3) and Cuando Cubango (2).

The 41 infections, of which 34 are male and seven are female, were registered in patients aged between three and 71 years.

In the last 24 hours, no deaths were reported, the bulletin indicates.

In the same period, there were 254 recoveries, of which 155 in Benguela, 31 in Huambo, 28 in Luanda, 25 in Huila, 10 in Bié and five in Lunda Sul.

The labs processed 1749 samples by RT-PCR with a daily positivity rate of 2.3 percent.

With the most recent data, the country has a total of 98,267 cases, of which 818 are active, 1,895 have died and 95,554 have recovered.
