Second gala 'Estrelas ao Palco' challenged competitors to get out of their comfort zone

The winning edition of ‘Stars on Stage’ continues to surprise, not only for the performances of the competitors but also for the adaptations of the program. The last gala, held this Saturday, which the country saw through ZAP Viva, confirmed that.

:

Usually accustomed to imitating a single artist, the 12 candidates were tested differently. That is, they were challenged to imitate artists completely different from those they were used to. In fact, from now on it will be like this: the same candidates to imitate different artists at each gala, explains a statement sent to VerAngola.

Marcos Txitoco sang "Ny think Plus de Tayc", Florêncio Handanga imitated "Fall" by Davido, the talented Patience Bernardo played Rihanna to sing "Diamonds". In turn, Adriano Tchitacumula performed with the song "God´s Plan" by Drake. Moisés Longo already shone with "Go crazy" by Chris Brown.

If he was used to seeing Young Márcia Geraldo imitate Shakira, in the last gala she became Nakamura, interpreting the hit "Djadja". Abrão Baptista also brightened up the night, receiving many praise from the jury. He imitated "Despacito" by Luis Fonsi, while Alice Júlio delighted with the imitation "Downtown" by Brazilian Anitta.

Having as theme international musical successes, the second gala 'Stars to the Stage' also had competitor Amélia Mendes to imitate Laura Pausini with "La Soledade". Ana Jorge sang "Jerusalema", António Máquina sang "Felices los 4" and Abias Cativa imitated Ed Sheeran with the success "Thinking out loud".

Once again, the gala was not eliminatory. Starting next Saturday, February 13, the first two contestants of this edition will be eliminated. The candidate who receives the least votes leaves the contest. Voting for competitors can be done through the website www.estrelasaopalco.co.ao or by calling the dedicated telephone terminals for each candidate.
