According to the health authorities, nine deaths were registered - six in Luanda, one in Bié, one in Huambo and one in Huíla, three males and six females and aged between 4 and 80 years old.
In addition, 47 new cases of infection were identified.
Of the new cases, 31 were registered in Luanda province, seven in Cabinda, five in Huambo, one in Benguela, one in Huíla, one in Moxico and one in Bié, with ages between 6 and 79 years old, being 26 males and 21 females, detailed Franco Mufinda.
Sixty-four people were considered recovered from the disease, of which 33 in Luanda, 13 in Huambo, nine in Huila and nine in Lunda Norte, with ages between 1 and 64 years.
Angola totals 20,210 cases, including 487 deaths, 18,687 recovered and 1036 active.
Among the active cases, eight are in critical condition and seven in serious condition.
Laboratories have processed 1629 samples out of a cumulative 372,210 with a positivity rate of 5.4 percent.
