The National Oil, Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANPG), as National Concessionaire, Eni Angola, operator of Block 15/06, and its partners Sonangol P&P and Sinopec made official this Friday the delivery of another solar system 12 KW to the Kididi Health Center, in the municipality of Belas, in Luanda.

:

This social support action included, among others, the presence of the National Director of Petroleum, Alcides Santos, the Manager of Block 15/06, Américo do Nascimento, representing ANPG, and the Director General of Eni in Angola, Matteo Bacchini .

On the occasion, the National Director of Petroleum welcomed the capacity that ANPG, operators and their partners have had to provide social support to Angolan communities. "Support that greatly contributes to the population's access to essential goods such as the provision of good health care", underlined Alcides Santos.

In a statement sent to VerAngola, the representative of ANPG says that this is yet another action that contributes to the common good and that promotes the use of renewable energies in Angola, something that has been increasingly common worldwide, since it contributes to the use of natural resources and to the preservation of the environment.

In addition, Américo do Nascimento stresses the importance that this project of electrification of health centers has for the country and for the populations that each of them serves. "This action is another step that we take to improve the living conditions of the populations, more specifically in terms of health. It is something we can and should be proud of - all of us: ANPG, Eni Angola and partners of Bloco 15/06 ".

Matteo Bacchini, Managing Director of Eni Angola, is not only satisfied with the company's presence in the country and with the work in progress in the oil sector, since Angola is an important market for the operation of this Italian multinational, but also with the results already achieved with this social support project. "I recall that this is already the 11th solar system that we delivered, which means that with this project we have so far taken energy daily to different communities in the provinces of Luanda, Huíla and Namibe. And we will not stop here. We will continue to work and to bet on our values of citizenship and on the support that we can reach the communities of Angola, a country that has welcomed us so well ", stressed the official.
