"All Internet and International Voice services are standardized, which are being carried out on the submarine cable called SAT-3/WASC, as a result of the repair work on the damaged section between Libreville (Gabon) and Cacuaco (Angola)," said Angola Telecom in a statement.
The contract was carried out by the international consortium of which Angola Telecom is part, which connects Portugal and Spain to South Africa, with connections to several West African countries, namely Senegal, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Benin, Nigeria and Cameroon.
Angola Telecom is Angola's public telecommunications and multimedia company and was founded in 1992.
