In the first edition of the competition, the winner was R. Galant, from South Africa. Botswana's Theo T.T Setsetse took second place, followed by Angolan athlete Nilton Carvalho, who won the bronze medal.
The event, which took place last weekend in Luanda, brought together athletes from several African countries: Angola, Mozambique, South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Kenya.
Speed Sadc Championship aims to promote skateboarding in the African continent and make this sport grow.
