Designated "The Domain of Angola - A Portrait of the Power of José Eduardo dos Santos", the book talks about the controversies surrounding the former president, José Eduardo dos Santos, and his family. The book, stamped by the portuguese publisher Oficina do Livro, arrives at the portuguese stores next Tuesday, February 11.
The book talks about "an authoritarian father, a millionaire daughter, a son in prison, a threatening general and a huge number of intriguers enter," reveals the book's synopsis.
The "twists, low blows and manipulation are the ingredients of a familiar breathtaking saga. A story where, unfortunately, everything is true," summarises the journalist - who was a correspondent for Agence France Presse and Radio France Internationale in Luanda between 2012 and 2015.
This is the second book the journalist has written about the Santos family: "La Dos Santos Company: Histoire D'Un Pillage En Angola", is the other work that Estelle Maussion has released about the former president.
