This reinforcement will be felt from February onwards, she said, adding that the new teachers admitted will be divided between the four municipalities of the province.

The municipality of Cabinda will take the biggest share, receiving 156 teachers. Next is the municipality of Cacongo with 67 teachers, while the remaining teachers will be distributed across the municipalities of Buco-Zau (65) and Belize (65).

In statements at a press conference – cited by Jornal de Angola –, the provincial secretary said that with the entry of new teachers, the sector now has 6926 professionals, both public and private.

Despite this reinforcement, with more than three hundred teachers, it is still far from being able to overcome Cabinda's needs, which are estimated at approximately 1361 teachers, said the person in charge, who added: "The sector will continue to record a deficit of 108 thousand professionals".

Furthermore, according to Jornal de Angola, Maria da Graça Morais also left a warning to newly admitted employees, to the effect that, for 15 days, they should continue completing the missing documents near the Provincial Education Secretariat, facing the penalty of remaining without the vacancy.
