PR in Huambo for two-day working visit

The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, has been in the province of Huambo since this Friday morning, where he will undertake a two-day working visit. His agenda includes the inauguration of several social infrastructures.

According to a note from CIPRA, to which VerAngola had access, the head of state is accompanied by the first lady of the Republic, Ana Dias Lourenço.

This Friday morning, João Lourenço chairs a meeting with the provincial government, which aims to assess the general situation in the province.

The President of the Republic's agenda in Huambo will essentially be filled by the inauguration of various infrastructures linked to the Health, Social Communication, Public Administration, Labor and Social Security and Culture sectors, informed the Secretary of the President of the Republic for Institutional Communication and Press, Luís Fernando.

"The mission will essentially consist of inaugurations, a series of them, which will fill the day on Friday and part of Saturday morning. The inauguration will be infrastructures linked to the sectors of Health, Social Communication, Public Administration, Labor and Social and Cultural Security", said the person in charge.

Furthermore, João Lourenço will visit Missão do Dondi, in the municipality of Catchiungo, informed Luís Fernando.

The President of the Republic is expected to return to Luanda on Saturday afternoon.
