After the suspension of classes in all educational establishments – public and private – the Government has now announced the mandatory vaccination certificate for students between 12 and 17 years old.
The measure was put forward by Francisco Furtado, Minister of State and Head of the Military House, who is also coordinator of the Multisectoral Commission for Prevention and Combat to Covid-19. The directive is part of Presidential Decree 315/21 of December 24, which updates measures to prevent and control the spread of the pandemic.
The person in charge advised those in charge of education and the educators themselves to accompany the children and teenagers to the vaccination posts during the period of suspension of classes.
