In total, the hub has 279 companies with active exploration contracts, although only 88 are in operation. They are divided into the industrial, services, commerce, technical assistance, civil construction and public works sectors.
From the Catumbela Industrial Development Hub come food, beverages, hygiene products, packaging, construction materials, furniture, fertilizers, hydrocarbons, among others.
"Naturally, fully functioning, with 100 percent occupancy of the lots with useful use in industrial projects, it will increasingly have a strong position in the Lobito Corridor", says the chairman of the Board of Directors.
Also according to Miguel Correia, the hub is responsible for the creation of more than a thousand jobs, being a strategic partner of the Lobito Corridor, in particular the Porto do Lobito and the Benguela Railway, adding value to the entire chain. of transport and logistics.
The PDIC is located in the municipality of Catumbela, occupying an area of approximately one thousand hectares.
