The information was transmitted by the spokesman of the National Directorate of Investigation of Criminal Offenses of the police, Quintino Ferreira, saying that the 36-year-old Guinean confessed to having paid 50,000 kwanzas to obtain the Angolan identity.
"This citizen, better known as 'Tio Carlos da cantina', in the Chicala 1 neighborhood in Luanda, says he has paid 50,000 kwanzas through an Angolan citizen who facilitated the process of acquiring the identity card," he explained.
The chief inspector of the Angolan police also assured that steps are underway to find the people who facilitated this process.
