The country's representation is being led by the Secretary of State for Tourism, José Guerreiro Primo, and will count on the presence of several entities and companies linked to the Angolan tourism sector.
According to Lourenço Gaspar, deputy director of the technical area of the Institute for the Promotion of Tourism (INFOTUR), Angola's presence at this fair aims to attract potential investors to the country and promote the International Tourism Fair, writes the newspaper Opaís.
He also said that the country will also participate in the Inventur Forum. The idea is to share experiences and talk about issues such as sustainability and technology.
In the 42 square meters that Angola has at its disposal there will be exposed several products related to tourism in the country. There will also be several companies from the tourism sector: INFOTUR, the Cabo Ledo Tourist Development Pole, the Calandula Tourist Development Pole, AIPEX, Fly Hotel and some travel agencies.
FITUR is held every year and is considered one of the biggest events at international level, with the representation of 165 countries.
