A new project in the sphere of arts will be inaugurated on January 13, at 5 pm, at Talatona Shopping Center - the Talatona Art Gallery. Designed to be an artistic center, the project has over 250 square meters and a space with all the infrastructure needed to host large exhibitions.
By the end of February, the exhibition “Generation Collection” will be on display, a show of 16 of Angola's leading artists. The concept is inspired by the different generations of artists that mark the socio-political and cultural scene of the country. From the Masters Kapela, Gong, Francisco Van, Antonio Ole, Fisty, Francisco Vidal, Guilherme Mampuya, Januario Janus, Paulo Kussy, Ricardo Kapuka, to the new generation's exponents such as Cristiano Mangovo, Mumpasi Meso, Uofole, Alcides Malayka, Armando Scoott and Binelde Hyrcan.
The curatorship is signed by Seven Arts, which aims to enhance and invest in Angolan contemporary art. The project encourages, collects, documents and creates the exchange between the works of Angola and the world, merging the artistic expression of different cultures, panoramas and historical contexts.
