Bravos do Maquis wins the African Confederation Cup while Sagrada Esperança draws in the African Champions League

Sagrada Esperança drew 0-0 against Esperance de Tunis, from Tunisia, in the second round of Group D of the African Champions League. In the African Confederation Cup, Bravos do Maquis beat CS Sfaxien, from Tunisia, 3-2.

With this draw at home, the only Angolan representative (Sagrada Esperança) in the biggest African club competition scored their first point, after losing in their debut, at the Pyramids' Egyptian stronghold, 5-1.

In the same group, Djoliba AC, from Mali, and Pyramids faced each other on Sunday, in a game valid for the second round.

Sagrada Esperança will play again on December 15th, visiting Djoliba AC, in the third round.

Esperance de Tunis leads Group D, with four points, followed by Pyramids, with three. Sagrada Esperança is in third, with one, while Djoliba AC has yet to score.

For the African Confederation Cup, Bravos do Maquis hosted CS Sfaxien, from Tunisia, on Sunday, in the second round of Group A, while, for Group B, also on the same day, Desportivo da Lunda Sul played at home in against Stade Malien, from Mali.

Thus, CS Sfaxien, under the command of Portuguese coach Alexandre Santos, lost, in Luanda, to Bravos do Maquis by 3-2, in a game in the second round of the African Football Confederation Cup.

In a game played at the 11 de Novembro stadium, the Angolan team's goals were scored by Keoikantse, at 27 minutes, Jó Paciência, at 39, and Macaiabo, at 45+2, while Mohamed Dhaoui, at 29, and Firas Sakouhi, at 47 , scored for the Tunisians.

Group A is led by CS Constantinois, from Algeria, with six points, followed by Simba, from Tanzania, which has three, the same as Sagrada Esperança, in third place, while CS Sfaxien, from Tunisia, is last, with zero.

Bravos do Maquis will play again on December 15th, against the leader of Group A, CS Constantinois, from Algeria, while CS Sfaxien, from Tunisia, will face Simba, from Tanzania, on the same day.

In the same competition, Desportivo da Lunda Sul, another Angolan representative, drew 1-1 at home to Stade Malien, from Mali, with the visitors opening the scoring, in the 69th minute, through Siaka Diaby, while the hosts equalized through Danilson, at 74, in a Group B game.

In the next round, Desportivo da Lunda Sul will face Sttenbosch FC, from South Africa, in Luanda, on December 15th.
