Téte António in China to (yet another) reinforce cooperation between the two countries

Téte António arrived in Beijing this Tuesday for a 72-hour working visit where the objectives are once again "strengthening and deepening bilateral cooperation between the two countries", says the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The minister, who was accompanied by ambassadors Miguel Dialamicua, director for the Asia region of MIREX, and Carlos Cruz Dias, director of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was received at Beijing International Airport by Wu Peng, director Africa Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and João Salvador dos Santos Neto, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Angola to the People's Republic of China.

According to the established program, to which VerAngola had access, the Minister of Foreign Affairs has on his agenda a working meeting with his Chinese counterpart, in addition to visits to commercial, technological and cultural enterprises of the Asian giant.

As is known, relations between Angola and China are considered strategic, with their roots being based on the history of struggle that both peoples and countries carried out for their liberation.

According to Mirex, the current state of cooperation between the two countries is considered privileged, "with a tendency to increase to an excellent level".

Political-diplomatic relations between the Republic of Angola and the People's Republic of China reached a landmark moment in 1983, when the Chinese Government recognized the Republic of Angola.

March 1, 1983, became a historic date in bilateral cooperation, with talks taking place that culminated in the signing of a Verbal Process between delegations from the two countries, which gave rise to several legal instruments aimed at expanding cooperation in economic areas. , commercial and social.
