Integrated Citizen Assistance Service is open again on Saturdays

After a forced closure due to the covid-19 pandemic, the SIAC (Integrated Citizen Assistance Service) will reopen on Saturday, preserving the “continuous and effective service to the citizen”.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security to which VerAngola had access, SIAC intends to keep simplifying procedures, reducing waiting times "with a high standard of quality and efficiency".

In this way, the service has an exceptional period of operation to the rule regime, established in Law n.º 26/22 of 22 August. There is now a need to restore the legality of opening hours as set out in Executive Decree 99/07 of 17 October. According to the document, the period of operation of SIAC will be from 08:00 to 15:00 from Monday to Friday and from 08:00 to 13:00 on Saturdays, on a continuous schedule.

Citizens who need additional information about the Integrated Citizen Assistance Service should contact the Department of Communication, Technological Innovation and Modernization of Services of SIAC, through the telephone terminal 222 691 904 or the page
