The call for proposals for the Small Projects Fund (FPP) 2022, made available by Camões – Centro Português da Cooperação, is now open. Applications can be submitted until 20 January next year.

:

"It is open until January 20, 2023, the call for proposals for the 2022 Small Projects Fund, made available by Camões – Centro Português da Cooperação, which contribute to minimizing needs in the social field, in particular in the health and education sectors", reads a statement sent to Verangola.

The purpose is "to respond to initiatives that, due to their nature and small size in budgetary terms, are not considered for other types of institutionalized support within the framework of Portuguese Cooperation or other development partners", and the "actions must be aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (Agenda 2030)".

For the tender, local civil society organizations are eligible, and the duration of the proposal should not exceed the implementation period of one year.

In terms of allocation of support, the note said, these will be distributed across the health and/or education sectors, ranging from a minimum value of 1,500,000.00 kwanzas to a maximum value of 3,500,000.00 kwanzas.

With regard to the evaluation of proposals, the statement goes on, Camões – Centro Português da Cooperação evaluates them "according to their relevance, impact, sustainability, geographic location, visibility and attracting other partnerships that contribute to reinforce the implementation of the action/ project".

Applications can be submitted by January 20th of the next year to the e-mail address cooperacao.luanda@mne.pt with the subject "presentation of proposal to Small Projects Fund 2022", and a presentation of the proposing entity and a recent activity report must be sent, in addition to the application form.
