According to a statement from the Luanda Provincial Command of the National Police, a group of armed invaders, involved in a land dispute in the municipality of Belas, opened fire on Tuesday afternoon, having been detained 25 people and seized four grenades, Three pistols, two sabers and a car that served as support for the invaders.
Police advance that the group resisted the police action so, given the degree of threat, as well as "the eminent launch of a grenade" took a series of actions to replace the order culminating in the detention of the invaders and five people injured, of which Three invaders who were rescued at the hospital.
However, one of the invaders eventually died.
Land conflicts, involving individuals, local communities and municipal administrations are frequent in the country.
