Francisco Viana was speaking as coordinator for the province of Luanda, as part of the verification visits to the 18 provinces of Angola carried out by deputies of the National Union for the Total Independence of Angola (UNITA).

In his speech, Francisco Viana denounced an alleged "invasion of foreigners", citing Chinese citizens who are "trafficking in timber, dolphins and everything in the sea, they take care of everything that is an animal".

"Of course, any country needs and welcomes foreigners, but when foreigners are in charge of our country, then these foreigners, especially when they are in league with corrupt leaders, are not welcome," said Francisco Viana.

According to the deputy, "what is happening with the community and many sectors of the Chinese community is unacceptable".

"If we go there to check what they already dominate at the level of the entire municipality of Viana [Luanda] it is scandalous and we have the Special Economic Zone right next door, we asked our parliament to be able to enter and visit the City of China, not they let us in, they said the boss wasn't there," he said.

The deputy said that, at the moment, eight more Cities in China are under construction, stressing that the Chinese, in addition to exporting and distributing, are also building factories, "to also absorb all the manufacturing part".

"It means that we have a big and serious problem of national sovereignty", expressed the deputy, stating that the Chinese community is doing "a lot of mischief in conjunction with our [Angolan] people and rulers".
