The idea aims to portray the originality and beauty of an African people in their cultural rescue, and the mural has a language of connection between man and nature, according to the Jornal de Angola.

According to the same newspaper, with this work, the Movimento de Arte Livre (MAL) wants, through urban art, to make the community travel in time, wander through the origins, in the sense of understanding that everything starts from a dream.

The main composition of the mural – painted between the 16th and 22nd of November – is "the girl symbolizes the dreamy people, the masks are objects of evocation and the men's connection to their ancestors", writes Jornal de Angola.

Speaking to Jornal de Angola, Raffa referred that this initiative represents a "gift" from MAL to all the inhabitants of Luanda, as it follows other urban intervention actions in Luanda and other areas of the country.

In the creation of the mural, in addition to Raffa, Batalha and Rosa also joined.

Graffiti artist and urban artist, Manuel Batalha, who is 19 years old, aims to develop his skills as well as collaborate with his art to enhance national culture, writes Jornal de Angola. In turn, Rosa Lucinda, aged 21, has been doing graffiti for three years (in 2019) and is focused on doing her best to contribute to national art.

Manuel André Pedro, better known as Raffa, is a visual artist, graffiti artist and founder of MAL. His resume also includes participation in the painting of Serra da Leba, launched in 2015 by artists from Brazil and which led to the film Murais da Leba, among other projects, and he is currently working on initiatives developed by the movement he founded, among others.

According to Jornal de Angola, MAL, also known as Tribo MAL, was founded in 2013, in Viana, and aimed to transform that municipality into an "open-air gallery of urban art".
