New Amazon Prime Video series recorded in Luanda

The new Amazon Prime Video series will feature scenes recorded in Luanda, whose recordings start in the second half of this month.

The recordings of the series, called 'Los Farad', will take place in seven locations in the capital, according to a statement sent to VerAngola.

"In Luanda, the recordings will be made in seven locations including downtown, Mercado do 30 in Viana, Kikolo District and also in the municipality of Ambriz, Bengo province", reads the document.

According to the statement, the recordings begin in the second half of December.

The series is produced by Mod Producciones and Espotlight Media, with Geração 80 as local producer.

With eight episodes, the Spanish series stars Miguel Herrán (La Casa de Papel) and Susana Abaitua (Pátria), directed by Mariano Barroso and written by Alejandro Hernández.

The series, inspired by real events, concerns an "action-packed thriller in which the story will unfold in Marbella in the 80s and is told through the eyes of Oskar (Miguel Herrán), a boy who dreams of having his gym and who, with the help of Sara Farad (Susana Abitua), ends up entering the fascinating world of Costa do Sol, jet set, eccentricities and geopolitics. offers a future, but with the most unexpected business: arms trafficking", the note adds.
