The information is provided by the project's website, which says that it is "stamped in the 'mirror' of bank credit to the productive sector value chain published every Friday in the Jornal de Angola".
It is known that so far, in the year 2020, more than 1000 projects have been submitted to banking within the scope of the program. Of these, 527 were approved, for a total financing amount in excess of 400 billion kwanzas.
The sector with the most approved projects is Agriculture, with 277 projects. It is followed by Commerce and Distribution with 164, and in third place is the Manufacturing Industry, with 54 approved projects.
Luanda, Benguela, Huila and Bié are the provinces with the largest number of funded projects.
It is recalled that Prodesi is a program of the Executive to accelerate the diversification of national production and wealth generation, in a group of productions with greater potential for generating export value and import substitution, namely in the following sectors: Food and Agribusiness industry, Mineral Resources, Oil and Natural Gas, Forestry, Textiles, Clothing and Footwear, Construction and Public Works, Information and Telecommunications Technologies, Health, Education, Training and Scientific Research and Tourism and Leisure.
