Luanda hosts ECOWAS Conference on Trade and Industry

Luanda will be the venue for the Conference on Trade and Industry of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), which will take place next Wednesday, December 9.

The conference will be used to analyze issues related to the trade integration of the countries that are part of ECOWAS. In the event will also be formalized and launched the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Angola Ecowas.

"The creation of the said ECOWAS Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Angola will boost business in the member countries of the organization," explained Adriano Campos, spokesman for the event, quoted by Angop.

He explained that the Angolan community is composed of people from ECOWAS and indicated that this chamber aims to demonstrate that these entrepreneurs are important in the country. It also aims to strengthen the commercial and industrial relationship between Angola and the countries that belong to ECOWAS.

ECOWAS is a regional integration organization composed of 15 West African countries.
