"SMS Jovem", the project that will help young people to clarify health doubts

The Ministry of Youth and Sports (Minjud) will launch this Saturday, December 5, the project "SMS Jovem". Developed in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the project aims to facilitate the sharing of information on health-related issues.

:

According to a statement, cited by Angop, "SMS Jovem" will help young people to have access to reliable information on health topics such as sexual reproductive health, covid-19, HIV/AIDS, among others.

In addition, young people will have the possibility to participate and give their opinion on these topics, which is of significant importance for their future. To participate, young people can send messages to the number 140. The sending of messages is totally free.

The opinions expressed by young people on the platform will allow health authorities to have a vision of what young people think in our society and to adapt decision-making, enabling the voice of the youth to be heard.
