According to Franco Mufinda, 33 cases were registered in Luanda, 13 in Cabinda, 11 in Huambo, four in Benguela, three in Moxico, two in Uige, one in Cuando Cubango and one in Zaire, aged between 5 months and 71 years, of which 41 were male and 27 female.
A 38-year-old Chinese citizen died from the disease. Another 207 people recovered, informed Franco Mufinda during the usual epidemiological assessment.
In total, 15,319 cases have been reported in the country, of which 351 have died, 8,139 are considered recovered, and 6,829 are active, including seven in critical condition and six severe.
A total of 2647 samples were processed in the laboratories in the last 24 hours, resulting in a daily positivity rate of 2.5 percent and a cumulative rate of 6.4 percent.

Brazil is the Portuguese-speaking country most affected by the pandemic and one of the hardest hit in the world, accounting for the second highest number of deaths (over 6.3 million cases and 173,817 deaths), after the United States.
The disease is transmitted by a new coronavirus detected in late December 2019 in Wuhan, a city in central China.and 207 recovered from the disease, announced the Secretary of State for Public Health.
