The 6th edition of TEDxLuanda comes this year in a different format. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the event will take place online.
With the theme TEDxLuandaRvisited, the event wants to recall the journey of speakers over the past years since their participation in the event.
TEDxLuanda will take place on December 19th, Saturday, on the Zoom platform.
Several speakers will be present at the event: Déborah Cardoso Ribas (Writer and Book Eater), Carlos Augusto (Entrepreneur), Elisangela Rita (Spoken Word), Ondjaki (Writer), Sónia Ferreira (Activist and Humanitarian), Jack Nkanga - Amosi Just a Label (Musician), Vladmir Russo (Environmentalist and Writer), Anabela Marcos (Psychologist and Career Manager), Carlos Rosado (Economical Journalist) and Alexandra Gonçalves (Lawyer, Blogger and Producer).
TEDx is an independent conference, organized under the guidance of the TED conference but with a local focus. In Angola, TEDx conferences are held by Pés Descalços, a non-profit organization that develops socio-cultural projects.
