Lunda Norte: police authorities prevent attempts at trafficking congolese minors

The Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) frustrated the attempt to traffic three children from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRCongo), in the city of Dundo, Lunda Norte province, Angolan authorities informed this Wednesday.

According to SIC spokesman in Lunda Norte, Veríssimo Pandamari, the children aged 9 and 12 were being taken by two alleged traffickers, who intended to travel with the minors to Luanda for their alleged commercialization.

Veríssimo Pandamari, quoted by Angop, said the men were arrested during an operation called "Kudissanga," with the collaboration of the people.

The attempt to traffic these minors is the third recorded this year, after the first at the beginning of the year and the second in July.
