According to Health Minister, Sílvia Lutukuta, the victims, four in critical condition, received medical assistance at Luanda General Hospital.
The official admitted that some of the injured could have amputated their lower limbs due to the severity of the injuries.
A multidisciplinary team was set up to assist the victims, with the minister ensuring that all measures are being taken to provide the necessary follow-up to patients.
According to one of the victims, those involved in the incident are engaged in the collection of various irons and metals for commercialization.
