With the construction of the future academy, the club aims to invest in sports education, with a view to generating football wealth for the country's sport, said the president of Sagrada Esperança, José Muacabalo.
The academy will have two schools, a boarding school capable of housing a hundred children and teenagers, as well as residences for technicians and teachers, among others.
Quoted by Angop, the club president explained that ten children and teenagers with football talent will be chosen in each of the ten municipalities that make up the province of Lunda Norte to receive training at the academy.
Speaking on the occasion of the club's 45th anniversary, which mark this Wednesday, the official did not reveal the cost of the work, nor when the academy will begin to be built.
However, he added that the project had already been sent to Endiama, the official sponsor of Sagrada Esperança, to be approved and financed, writes Angop.
In the list of priorities of the club's board, there is also the construction of a training ground, estimated for 2022, with the objective that the Sagrada Esperança Stadium will be used only for official matches.
The club was founded on December 22, 1976.
