National selection wins soccer tournament in sub-17

The 'Palanquinhas' won, this Wednesday, the final of the sub-17 football tournament in the Games of the region 5, which took place in Lesotho. The national male soccer selection in sub-17 won Zambia for 2-1, thus conquering the 'gold medal'.


The conquest of the national team did not go unnoticed, having Ana Paula do Sacramento, Minister of Youth and Sports, in statements to radio 5 and cited by Angop, expressed that the government is willing to help the training layers.

In turn the president of the Angolan Football Federation, Arthur Almeida e Silva, welcomed the team by the conquest of the 'gold' in the competition.

"Our congratulations for this achievement is an achievement that honors all Angolans (...). In the background is to take on all a work we have been doing, despite all the difficulties," said, quoted by National Radio Angola (RNA).

"These young people are warriors, were determinant and I think the future will be radiant to all of them. Let's wait and wait for your return to receive with any enthusiasm needed," he added.
