In a statement sent to VerAngola, the flag airline informs that, in partnership with Secret Angola, between the 14th and 23rd of November, they will hold the first edition of 'FAMTRIP Angola-Brazil', which consists of an "immersion in the country with specialized tourism operators, and representing around 900 travel agents in Brazil, with the aim of promoting domestic tourism and publicizing the investment opportunities that Angola can provide for economic agents".
Thus, over the 10 days of the initiative, Brazilian travel agents and journalists will be able to visit some of the main tourist sites in four provinces of the country.
According to TAAG, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in "an intense program that will consist of visiting the main tourist attractions in the provinces of Luanda, Malanje, Huíla and Namibe".
In these visits, the highlight falls, for example, on the Marginal de Luanda, Ilha do Mussulo, Palácio de Ferro, Fortaleza, Miradouro da Lua, Quedas de Calandula, Cristo Rei, Tundavala, Serra da Leba, Praia Amélia, Cidade de Moçâmedes, among other "scenarios and places that mark a positive experience for visitors from abroad".
"At the same time, tour operators will have the opportunity to go on safari in Kissama and travel by boat along the Kwanza River", says the note.
With this initiative, TAAG says it intends to strengthen the country's positioning "as a preferred destination for tourism and attracting investment, strengthening the skills and knowledge of international agents to offer travel packages to Angola in an increasingly attractive and efficient".
Afterwards, says the company, journalists will have the opportunity to "radiograph the natural beauty, the economic development of the country and the cultural, historical, fauna, flora and landscape diversity", among others, that the country has to offer.
It is worth noting that 'FAM TRIP' consists of a familiarization trip, where companies, professional groups or individuals can be involved, with a view to promoting and disseminating "destinations and remarkable experiences of some locality, community or country", and in this specific case, TAAG intends to collaborate with Brazilian travel agencies and journalists, "in order to promote tourism and attract investments from South America".
