The choice of Kennedy Luís to represent Angola was made possible by Luís Munana, member of the organizing committee of Windhoek Fashion Week.
Kennedy Luís, creator of the project “Your attitude determines your altitude”, an initiative that uses a television program, literature and music to inspire and motivate African youth, participated in the event with a full agenda. During fashion week, he participated in networking sessions with businesspeople, artists and creators from different parts of the African continent, and represented the brands of designers Luísa Sanda and Andila Andila in the fashion shows.
The series directed by Kennedy Luís, aired since November 2023, is produced by KL Films and is sponsored by Cabship. The main objective of the program is "to motivate and inspire African youth, identifying Africans and their descendants with brilliant minds so that they can share their experiences and professional trajectories with the aim of inspiring and motivating new generations", says a statement sent to VerAngola.
Windhoek Fashion Week is a fashion industry event in Namibia, which brings together different professionals in the sector, such as designers, models, photographers and stylists, to showcase their latest collections. The vision is to connect Namibians to the international fashion network through partnerships with powerful African brands.
Kennedy Luís stood out as a cultural ambassador for Angola, reinforcing his commitment to African youth and the promotion of the continent's culture.
