João Nkosi is the new secretary for the productive sector of the President of the Republic

The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, appointed João Nkosi as secretary of the President of the Republic for the Productive Sector.

The appointment, according to a statement from CIPRA, to which VerAngola had access, is contained in a decree signed this Wednesday.

João Nkosi will thus replace Isaac dos Anjos, who was recently appointed to the position of Minister of Agriculture and Forestry.

According to a statement from the National Institute for Support to Small and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM), to which VerAngola had access, since 2022 Nkosi has held the position of president of the Board of Directors (PCA) of INAPEM.

"Since February 2022, João Nkosi has been serving as president of the Board of Directors of the National Institute for Support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises", reads the note from INAPEM, which wished Nkosi "success" in his new undertaking.

It is recalled that, last week, the President of the Republic dismissed António Assis, until then Minister of Agriculture and Forests, having appointed Isaac dos Anjos, who until now served as secretary of the President of the Republic for the Production Sector.

In recent weeks, the head of state has made several changes to the Government, which highlights, in addition to those already mentioned, the dismissal of Eugénio Laborinho from the position of Minister of the Interior and the appointment of Manuel Homem, until then governor of Luanda, to his place.
